June 9th: NSS 3on3 Basketball Tournament Recap

With the rainy weather bringing the competition from the outdoor courts of Red Oaks Mill to the NSS half-c at Page Park, 6 teams took the court filling a bracket with a physical brand of basketball showcasing heart, strength, speed, explosiveness and a little bit of ‘it’.

Would you expect anything less from a NorthStar Sports’ event?

When all was said and done, the champions cash-pot was awarded to Team Quan, starring NSS familiars Naquan, Charles ‘Big June’ Spencer, and Curtis ‘Slim’ Walker.

Team Donald, featuring players from the local, Hudson Valley Kingz semi-pro basketball team, took home the runner-up title and an arm-full of NSS gear to wear with pride after a day of fierce physical play.

The Tournament Series has not ended.  Still 2 Saturdays left.
